Well, we have driven from Chicago to Sioux Falls, South Dakota and let me tell you ol' Jones ain't stopping for much unless it is for cheap gas--which is extremely limited out here--or for a SALE sign. And I'll be dog gone if he didn't spot one on I-90 in South Dakota at the Cabela's store in Mitchell. For someone who has to take offhis glasses to read a menu, he sure can spot a sale a long distance away. So here we are at Cabela’s and it is not that the ol' boy packs light, he just had to get a pair of shorts and a polo shirt on sale for a total of $15.00. Heck,I would have paid him $15.00 just to have him not wear the shorts.

From the next photos, you can see we have gone from bad legs to bad lands. Those poor settlers drove across miles & miles & miles & miles of boring prairie and then hit the Badlands of South Dakota. That must have been tough!

Luke decided to view the Badlands from a safe distance.
